Jing Wo Lion Dance classes are excellent for adults and children. Endurance, discipline, flexibility, and agility are all trained in order to perform a Chinese Lion Dance.

Recommended starting age is 6, however, it is possible for children to start earlier, depending on their personality and willingness to learn. The Jing Wo actively encourages young children to start training in Lion Dance not only as a method of exercise, but also as a catalyst to learn more about Chinese culture and all the customs and traditions involved.

Jing Wo Lion Dance is also a great place to actively meet new people and make new friends through training, discipline, and the comradeship of preparing and performing of the Lion Dance.

Lion Dance classes are held every Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Classes are also free of charge, the only thing that the head coach expects is hard work and a drive to volunteer through actual performances when your schedule permits.
