 Started in 1998 by Master David Yin, the Calgary Chinese Orchestra was the first of it's kind in Alberta. Classes teach traditional Chinese music and orchestra pieces, as well as opportunities to learn instruments unique to the Chinese culture. The Calgary Chinese Orchestra has since performed at many public venues and have held many successful concerts at Eckhardt-Gramatté Concert Hall in the Rosza Centre of the University of Calgary.
